Five Seasons Swim School
Five Seasons Swim School strives to provide an exceptional swimming experience that is safe, high quality and most of all- very FUN. Open to both members and non-members.
We pride ourselves on having some of the area's most experienced instructors. Every team member is dedication to being certified in their field of expertise and continuing their education.
We provide a safe, positive, and encouraging learning environment built on trust. Please discuss any strategies and special considerations that will maximize your and your child's experience.
Guppies - Parent & Tot
Parent and Tot will explore water as a safe and fun environment together. The swimmer will learn how to enter and exit the water, float, kick and blow bubbles under water. One adult per swimmer required.
Tadpoles - Level 1
Prerequisites: Ages 3 & older, able to listen and follow direction, not afraid of water
Swimmers will become more acquainted with the water by learning how to do front and back floats, blow bubbles, and freestyle kicking and elementary backstroke.
Minnows - Level 2
Prerequisites: Tadpole requirements plus comfortable on back with ears in water, unassisted movement in water, blow bubbles with body submerged.
Swimmers will learn to gain more independence in the water by completing basic swimming skills independently such as: front and back floats and jumping in and climbing out of water and gaining comfort in deeper water. Freestyle and backstroke will be introduced.
Barracudas - Level 3
Prerequisites: Minnow requirements plus able to swim 5 yards unassisted freestyle, backstroke, and elementary backstroke. Must be able to tread water for a minimum of 15 seconds.
Swimmers will improve strokes introduced in level 2. Butterfly kicking and breaststroke are introduced.
Whale Sharks - Level 4
Pre-requisites: Barracuda requirements plus able to swim one length of pool freestyle and backstroke unassisted without stopping and tread water for 30 seconds.
Swimmers will continue skills on all strokes independently and begin to learn advanced swimming skills such as: diving off the side of the pool, turns, and swimming up to 50 yards continuously.
Great White Sharks - Level 5
Prerequisites: All White Shark requirements plus swim 100 yards of the pool unassisted and with proper form.
Swimmers will expand swimming up to 50 yards of the pool using starts and flip turns while continuing to improve upon advanced swimming skills.
Swim Team Prep
Prerequisites: All Great White Shark requirements plus swim 200 yards continuously.
Swimmers will continue to advance stroke techniques on all strokes and prepare for competitive racing on the swim team
